With the way things are going, I’m recommending that no one moves into a park unless it’s a 55+ park in a rent-controlled area. I recommend going to a lower-priced home and buying your own land if at all possible or just going with a site-built home. When you live in a park, you are at their mercy and should expect a minimum of 3% increase in rent every year. For older pre-owned homes, I’m not as against parks since the affordability is so great but that isn’t the case for a new manufactured home.
